Carolinas PGA brings PGA HOPE to Myrtle Beach, SC

Myrtle Beach, SC (August 18, 2020) – PGA Professionals across the Carolinas join forces to give HOPE to more veterans in the Grand Strand Chapter. The PGA REACH Carolinas Foundation will be extending PGA HOPE to Project Golf at Barefoot Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This will be the home of the 13th PGA REACH Carolinas PGA HOPE Program; PGA HOPE Myrtle Beach.

The PGA REACH Carolinas Foundation is eager to bring a PGA HOPE Chapter to Project Golf Myrtle Beach as there is continuous growth in the program and the positive impact PGA HOPE has had on the lives of many Veterans’. This program will help give back to those who have sacrificed and given so much for our country in this area.

PGA of America Past President and Carolinas PGA Past President Gary Schaal, PGA will embrace the role of PGA HOPE Lead Professional for PGA HOPE Myrtle Beach. Schaal and his staff are ecstatic to serve the many veterans in this area, realizing the genuinely special nature of all this program has to offer. By having a PGA HOPE Chapter in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the PGA REACH Carolinas Foundation plans to have huge success at using golf as a form of rehabilitation to serve many more veterans.

About Project Golf Myrtle Beach
Dedicated to advocating the virtues of golf, along with providing an introduction to the game, instruction, and improved access for all golfers seeking to become involved with the sport. Particular focus will be applied to youth golf and development and with providing access, instruction and rehabilitation to disabled veterans.
