PGA HOPE Carolinas (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is an adaptive golf program offered by our PGA Professionals as a rehabilitation tool to improve our Veterans’ quality of life by enhancing their mental, social, physical, and emotional well-being. There is NO COST to our Veterans. We serve our Veterans at twenty-one locations in North and South Carolina with an emphasis on helping those with physical and emotional disabilities that would most benefit from our initiatives.
This life changing program would not be possible without our PGA Members & Associates throughout the Carolinas. They dedicate their time to help grow the game amongst our Men & Women Patriots. Each Member or Associate involved, has been certified in PGA HOPE training to better serve those with physical or mental disabilities.
Are you a PGA Professional and want to get involved in PGA HOPE?
WE NEED YOUR HELP! We have 21 HOPE Chapters this year, the most we have had since we started in 2017…and we don’t have any plans on stopping. You don’t have to host or lead a Chapter, but the more Professionals we have available to instruct for these Chapters allows us to continue our INCREDIBLE growth! Whether you help every day of a session or just one day, it makes an IMPACT!
We pay our PGA Professionals at these programs, but each instructor must have undergone a specific PGA HOPE training. This spring we were lucky to have the opportunity to have 2 HOPE Training sessions. We are working on planning a third PGA HOPE Training Session for our Professionals and Associates sometime in 2023. More information will become available once we finalize details for the training session.
If you are interested in becoming PGA HOPE certified, we ask you to click HERE to indicate your interest in attending a future training.
Photos from our training session at Stoney Creek Golf Club can be found HERE.
