An update from your Area Director, Jim Lohbauer, PGA:

The holiday season is upon us and many of our Carolina clubs are beginning to wind down from a busy season.  I hope many of you have plans to spend time with friends and family in the upcoming weeks and cherish the time of year.  Many of us have begun budgeting and preparations for 2019 and I look forward to expanding opportunities to our Area throughout the next calendar year.  That being said we have added a new event for all Area Professionals on December 13 at Ballantyne Resort that will include an educational seminar from Blast Motion, business meeting and lunch and 9 hole Pro-Pro.  We are finalizing the details and will email everyone in the next few days with specifics as we anticipate a big event. 

Several Professionals have reached out to me over the past few months looking to get more involved and assist in growing our Area which I am grateful for and I will be looking for many more.  Several key areas I would like to discuss at this next meeting include education, assistants, playing and networking opportunities to name a few.  As you all know it takes the passion and support of strong Professionals to help lead the effort so if anyone would be interested in learning more, please call or email me. 

There are several key events in our Area that are highlighted below.  In addition, Brock White in the Sandhills Area (V) has extended an invite to our Area Professionals to join them in some upcoming events.  CLICK HERE for an entry form for their Pro-Pro on November 19 as well as two additional educational events on November 26 at Methodist University and December 3 at Longleaf.  For more info and to register, contact Brock (brockwhite@pga.com) or myself.
