Why Participate?
At the Carolinas PGA, we believe in the transformative power of golf. By supporting PGA REACH Carolinas, you contribute to life-changing programs such as:
- PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) – Empowering veterans through golf.
- PGA Jr. League – Providing youth with team-based golf experiences.
- PGA WORKS Fellowship – Creating career pathways for diverse talent.
Your involvement directly impacts individuals who benefit from these initiatives, using golf as a tool for positive change.
How It Works
- Donation: Individuals (club members, guests, students, customers, etc.) purchase squares for $20 each (no limit) from the squares board in the pro shop.
- Recording Donations: A staff member records the donor’s name, contact details, and chosen square(s), collecting payment.
- Drawing a Winner: Once all squares are sold, conduct a random drawing to determine the winner.
- Prize: The lucky winner receives a brand-new Scotty Cameron putter!

- How do I get a poster?
- Contact the PGA REACH Carolinas team to receive a 3ft x 2ft Squares for Scottys poster to display at your facility.
- How should I display the poster?
- Use thumbtacks, tape, a standing easel, or lean it against a wall for visibility.
- How do I collect donations?
- Facilities can choose their own method:
- The golf professional collects payments personally (cash, check, Venmo, Cash App, etc.).
- The facility collects payments via member account charges or credit card transactions.
- One lump payment is then sent to the Section Office.
- Record donor name, email, phone number, and squares purchased on the Donor Contact List.

- How is a winner chosen?
- A random drawing is conducted when all 100 squares are sold. Methods include:
- Live Drawing via Instagram/Facebook.
- Using Siri to select a number (1-100).
- Aligning the drawing with a tournament/event at your facility.
- Creating your own unique way to engage participants!

- What if not all squares are sold?
- A minimum of 50 squares must be sold to determine a winner.
- How will the winner be contacted?
- Send the winner’s name & email to the PGA REACH Carolinas team.
- The team will congratulate them and provide a Titleist micro-site link for putter selection.
- When will the winner receive their putter?
- Typically 2-3 weeks after the winner submits their selection (subject to model availability & customization).
Once a winner is determined, send the funds to the Section Office using one of the following options:
- Preferred: One check for the total amount raised, sent personally or from the facility.
- Mail all cash/checks collected in a single package to the Section Office.
- Credit Card Payment: Contact Mike or Mia for a payment link.
