Harvick4HighSchoolGolf Returns for Season 3

As the warm weather takes hold, high school students and sports enthusiasts across North Carolina eagerly embrace the return of Spring sports. With another season shaping into form, the Harvick4HighSchoolGolf program in collaboration with the Kevin Harvick Foundation returns for its third season – this time, with two new schools in the mix.

Venturing into Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, NC, Jonathan Dudley, PGA, lends his expertise to the golf teams of Western Guilford High School, offering invaluable insights into course management, strategy, and technique. This spring, he will conduct four golf lessons for the boys’ team and collaborate with Head Coach James Stackhouse. Additionally, Western Guilford High School aims to recruit several players for their girls’ team this fall.

Meanwhile, at Sunset Hills Golf Course in Charlotte, NC, Harding High School has been welcomed aboard as another fresh addition to the 2024 season. PGA of America Golf Professional, Jay Reid, PGA, has offered his expertise to instruct the team and work alongside Head Coach Caleb Neeley. Reid will facilitate practice sessions to ensure participants are primed for success. Likewise, he will work with the girls’ team in the fall.

The Harvick4HighSchoolGolf initiative has proven instrumental in providing PGA professional instruction, uniforms, team golf bags, hats, golf clubs, and a myriad of supplementary items, all aimed at ensuring a triumphant season for these high school teams.
