Together, We Are Carolinas Strong

North Carolina (October 7, 2024) – In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the Carolinas PGA stands firm in its commitment to support our community during this time of unprecedented need. The devastation left in the storm’s path has left many families in the Carolinas without homes, food, and basic necessities. As we witness the resilience of our friends, neighbors, and fellow community members, we are reminded that “Carolinas Strong” isn’t just a slogan—it’s a promise to lift each other up. In partnership with the American Red Cross and the PGA Medical and Disaster Relief Fund, we are launching a campaign to raise $10,000 to assist those affected by the hurricane.

Imagine losing everything. Imagine a community that steps in with food, shelter, water, and hope when it feels like there’s none left. That’s who we are. We urge everyone to join us in this effort. Your support can help a family rebuild and restore hope in their lives.

To aid in these efforts, the Club Car CPGA Pro-Official Championship, originally scheduled for September 30th at the Country Club of Asheville, has been rescheduled to Providence Country Club in Charlotte, NC on October 21st. We extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the staff and members of the Country Club of Asheville, as well as to all those affected throughout western North and South Carolina. The tournament has been rescheduled to Providence Country Club in Charlotte, NC on October 21st thanks to the generosity of the staffs at McConnell Golf and Providence Country Club. We have transitioned this event into a relief effort and encourage everyone to participate in this meaningful cause.
