CLAYTON, NC – The 2024 PGA Jr. League postseason officially teed off on Thursday, July 17, at Pine Hollow Golf Club, where All-Star teams gathered for the first Carolinas Section Qualifier of the summer. With a spot at the Section Championship on the line, teams brought the heat, and the scores proved it.

In the 13u division, the MacGregor/12 Oaks Op36 League, coached by Bo Bolick, PGA, and Andrew Kiger, PGA, posted a sharp 9-under (32-32-32) to claim the first 13u qualifying spot of the season.

The 17u division was dominated by the Bentwinds League, with Team 1 firing a field-leading 12-under (30-33-33) and Team 2 following closely behind at 7-under (33-31-37). Both teams, coached by Evelyn Walters, PGA, and Tyler Shope, earned their place in the Section Championship and will represent their league in August.

With the postseason now underway, more teams across the Carolinas will look to join this talented trio on the road to the Carolinas PGA Jr. League Section Championship on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Foxfire Resort & Golf in Foxfire, NC!.
