Carolinas PGA Jr. League Summer Shootout Championship
Whether it is hot, cold, rain, or shine, these juniors maintained their eye on the prize until the end. We saw some great golf during the Carolinas PGA Jr. League Summer Shootout Championship. Four winning teams from their respective divisions ended up in the final stage in the Summer Shootout Championship; from the Wie Division: Country Club of Spartanburg captained by Kevin Britt, from the Thompson Division: Dunes Golf Club captained by Ryan Wolf, from the Fowler Division: Waterford Golf Club captained by Brent Reneau, and from the McIlroy Division: Lake Hickory Country Club Fire Team captained by Brandon Rector. These juniors played outstandingly as we had two teams advance to the Championship Finals this afternoon, Waterford Golf Club Team and Country Club of Spartanburg Team. It was a well-fought match as Waterford finished with 8 points and Country Club of Spartanburg finished with 4 points.
We are happy to announce that Waterford Golf Club Team captained by Brent Reneau (players: Graden Lomax, Mason Kucia, Ashton Lee, Will Guthrie, JJ Santospago, Cash Scerri, Rohin Qasim, Gracie Song, Jakon Benzinger, and Matthes Kucia) is the 2020 Carolinas PGA Jr. League Summer Shootout Champions!
