On this year’s Veterans Day, PGA REACH Carolinas hosted the 2nd Annual PGA REACH Carolinas HOPE Cup at Kiawah Island Resort – Cougar Point Golf Course. PGA HOPE Southern Pines took home the winning title and will advance to the national PGA Secretary’s Cup during the week of the 2020 PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, California. Congratulations to Lead PGA Professional, Jim Hardy, and his team of Hal Taylor, Kyle Sine, Jude Landry, and Sean McCormick!

It was a beautiful, full of smiles, a lot of fun, honor, and heart-warming impact. Eleven (11) of PGA HOPE Carolinas’ twelve (12) HOPE Programs participated in this year’s event. Each participating team was composed of one (1) PGA HOPE Lead PGA Professional and four (4) PGA HOPE Veterans that have graduated through one of our PGA HOPE programs here in the Carolinas. The teams competed in a 9-hole, 5-man scramble format on the front nine of Cougar Point Golf Course.
