Pinehurst, NC – On Sunday, September 7, 2025, eight juniors earned the ultimate honor in junior golf — advancing to the 2026 Drive, Chip & Putt National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club. The Regional event was staged at the iconic Pinehurst Resort & Country Club, where participants even launched drives down the 18th hole of Pinehurst No. 1. The atmosphere was electric, filled with excitement and nerves, as families, friends, PGA Professionals, and volunteers gathered at the historic venue to watch the region’s top juniors compete for a coveted spot on the road to Augusta.

The Regional competition welcomed 96 juniors from across the United States, with strong representation from the Carolinas and nearby states, as well as participants traveling from as far as Texas, California, and Puerto Rico.

In the end, eight division champions rose above the field to punch their ticket to the National Finals. Their victories not only highlight individual talent but also reflect the strength of junior golf across the Carolinas and surrounding states. For many, this journey began years ago at local qualifiers, making Sunday’s accomplishment a dream come true.
