PGA REACH Carolinas Welcomes The 12th PGA HOPE Program
PGA HOPE Parris Island Opens Their Doors to Veterans in the Low Country Area
Parris Island, SC (September 10, 2019) – The PGA REACH Carolinas Foundation is proud to welcome Parris Island as the 12th PGA HOPE Program to its Section. The opening day attracted over 20 veterans in attendance, including PGA HOPE Charleston ambassadors Fred Gutierrez and Gunny Burge, celebrating the inauguration of PGA HOPE Parris Island.
Leading this new PGA HOPE program will be Dwight Hansen, PGA along with the staff of The Legends Golf Course at Parris Island as they are eager to be a part of this program and will be serving many veterans within the area.
PGA HOPE is designed as a rehabilitation tool to give back to our veterans as they served our country valiantly. The program provides a fun and relaxing environment to those want to be a part of a community or are currently battling inner demons. PGA HOPE can help improve these veterans’ quality of life by focusing on their emotional, physical, social, and mental well-being. This program is FREE to our veterans that are willing to be a part of it.
If you wish for more information or to be a part of the PGA HOPE Parris Island program, please email Dwight Hansen, PGA at pgahopeparrisisland@gmail.com.
