“Old Town 5” Team becomes victorious in the Inaugural 100 Holes for HOPE  in the Carolinas!

Over $40,000 raised to support PGA HOPE Carolinas

Browns Summit, NC (November 12, 2020) – The inaugural 100 Holes for HOPE was created to honor the sacrifice of our nation’s military heroes through the PGA National Day of HOPE (Oct. 1 through Veteran’s Day), by raising awareness and funds for PGA HOPE programming in the Carolinas.

PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. The program includes a developmental six-to-eight-week curriculum, taught by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency. In 2020, PGA HOPE programming in the Carolinas impacted over 200 Veteran’s lives and since 2015, nearly 1,200 veterans have been impacted through this program!

We would like to extend a huge amount of gratitude to our participants and donors for contributing funds to help us keep PGA HOPE programming in the Carolinas for years to come! We can’t thank you all enough for helping us raise over $40,000! This number is still rising as we are still waiting on a few birdie pledges to be donated.

There was a competition in conjunction with the 100 Holes for HOPE to see who would raise the most funds for PGA HOPE Carolinas. The winner of the competition will receive 2 tickets to the 2021 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island Resort at Ocean Course (Day to be determined by CPGA). With that being said, we would like to congratulate the Old Town 5 Team for raising over $14,000 for PGA HOPE Carolinas!
