Four PGA Jr League teams in the Carolinas section will be continuing their 2023 postseason efforts after qualifying for the 2023 National Car Rental Regional Championship through All-Star Play Days.
All-Star Play Days provides an opportunity for teams who did not qualify at their section event to earn a spot at the regional contest. By participating in locally hosted contests between Jr League competitors, teams may post their scores to a regional leaderboard. If their total scores from three All-Star Play Day events puts them in the top three teams on the regional leaderboard, they then automatically advance to the Regional Championship.
From the 13U division, Bluffton League Team Coached by Kirk Mitchell, PGA, Raleigh 2 League Team Coached by Ryan Dailey, PGA and Spartanburg League Team Coached by John Wease, PGA took the top three spots on the regional leaderboard and are advancing to the 2023 National Car Rental Regional Championship at Greensboro National Country Club over Labor Day weekend. From the 17U division, Fayetteville League Team 1 Coached by Ryan Dailey, PGA will be advancing to the Regional Championship.

General information includes:
- Any registered PGA Coach can host an All-Star Play Day.
- Only All-Star PGA Coaches and All-Star teams may participate in an All-Star Play Day.
- There must be a minimum of two All-Star teams at each Play Day, with different All-Star PGA Coaches from different facilities. This is in place for score verification and attestation purposes.
- Host PGA Coaches may determine certain details such as entry fees, number of teams and other items mentioned below.
- Host PGA Coaches must adhere to specific competitive requirements mentioned below in order for their All-Star Play Day to be eligible to count toward the All-Star Regional Leaderboard.
- All-Star Play Days must be held between May 1 – August 18, 2023, in order to be eligible for the Regional Leaderboard.
- If an All-Star team participates in 3 or more All-Star Play Days (or 2 Play Days and a Section event), they will be eligible for possible advancement to a Regional.
- The top four 13u and top four 17u All-Star teams, as of August 19, 2023, on the Regional Leaderboard will receive an invitation to a Regional competition.
