Orlando, FL – Attending the PGA Show with my section, representing the Carolinas as the 9th Sara Sunny Hutchinson PGA WORKS Fellow, was an experience I had been looking forward to for a long time. Growing up seeing photos of the show floor, I knew how monumental this event was, and getting to experience it in person exceeded every expectation.

The PGA Show is one of the largest gatherings in the golf industry, bringing together professionals, exhibitors, and innovators from across the world. It showcases the latest equipment, technology, and trends while providing countless opportunities for education, networking, and professional development. For anyone in the golf industry, the show is a hub of ideas and inspiration, where you can learn from leaders, see the future of the game firsthand, and connect with professionals from every corner of the sport.

“Running into people I knew from Washington to Colorado to Iowa to the Carolinas reminded me just how connected the golf industry truly is.”

The first two days were spent at the SBO meetings with my Carolinas PGA team. It was exciting to dive deeper into marketing and business topics, but what stood out most was connecting with professionals from other sections and learning from their perspectives. Sharing ideas, hearing new approaches, and collaborating with peers from across the country was both inspiring and eye-opening.

On Wednesday and Thursday, I joined the rest of the PGA WORKS Fellows, and those days were a huge highlight. The WORKS team planned two full days filled with meaningful networking opportunities. We heard from industry leaders, connected with professionals from all corners of the golf world, and spent plenty of time walking the show floor. It was also incredible to get to know my fellow Fellows. Being surrounded by peers so eager to learn and grow made every moment feel worthwhile and reinforced the value of the program.

Overall, the PGA Show was an amazing opportunity to gain insights, build connections, and see the breadth of the golf industry up close. I am incredibly grateful to represent the Carolinas Section and be part of the PGA WORKS Fellowship, and I am excited to see all the impactful and innovative things my peers in the 2025 fellowship class will accomplish in the months and years ahead.
