Karina was born in London, England but grew up in Milton, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Sport Management and a Masters in Kinesiology with a Sport Management focus. Growing up she played soccer and karate and didn't discover her passion for the game of golf until her last year of college. Prior to joining the Carolinas PGA Section she was a P.J. Boatwright Intern at the Georgia State Golf Association.

Outside of work, Karina loves watching soccer (Arsenal) and college football (UGA), weightlifting, travelling, going to concerts, spending time with her family and friends, and of course playing golf.
