Lapointe Leads Dynamic Discussion on Player Development
On Wednesday, May 31 at Columbia CC the 2017 Carolinas PGA Global Golf Sales Area II Meeting and Golf Challenge Presented by Bionic Glove, PGA Tour & Source4 took place. The team of Burke Cromer (Northwoods Golf Club) and Chase Butler (George Bryan Golf Academy) posted an impressive score of 23 points in the modified stableford scoring event to capture the title.
Area II Professionals gathered for fellowship and education, highlighted by an engaging player development presentation by CPGA Teaching & Coaching Committee Member & 2015 CPGA Teacher of the Year Marc Lapointe from the Marc Lapointe Golf Academy (http://www.marclapointegolf.com - email@example.com - 704-906-4742).

** Burke Cromer and Chase Butler will advance with their Area Director (Tom Mason) to the Carolinas PGA Area Challenge Section Championship on Monday, October 9th, at the Greensboro CC – Farm Course. Cromer and Butler also each earn a spot in the Global Golf Sales Par 3 Challenge, a $1,000 per hole skins game on Monday, Nov 27th before the CPGA Pro-Pro Championship at Pinewild Country Club’s par-3 “Azalea” Course featuring 72 PGA Professionals.
