It was a beautiful day at Carmel CC for the 2017 Carolinas PGA Global Golf Sales Area VI Meeting and Golf Challenge Presented by Bionic Glove, PGA Tour, PXG, Source4 & Wireless Communications. The team of Seth Merz & Robbie Failes of Carmel CC won after carding 6 birdies and no bogies for an impressive score of 24 points in this modified stableford scoring event to capture the Area Challenge Championship.
Area VI Professionals gathered for fellowship and education, highlighted by a PGA Championship and TopGolf Charlotte update, followed by an engaging player development presentation by CPGA Teaching & Coaching Committee Member & Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor Jason Sutton, PGA from Carmel CC. A special thank you to Area VI Director and Head Professional at Carmel CC Jason Toryk for administering and hosting the meeting.
Carolinas PGA Set to Host 53rd SignArt North Carolina Open
Tournament Aims to Raise $5,000 for Hendrick Family Foundation with Help from Mobipaid
Greensboro, NC (June 1, 2017) – The Carolinas PGA is gearing up for one of its most anticipated events of the season – The SignArt North Carolina Open Presented by Mobipaid. On June 5 - 8, 150+ amateurs and PGA Professionals will gather at The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, North Carolina for a shot at one of the region’s most prestigious golf tournaments and a unique chance to support The Hendrick Family Foundation – the charitable arm of Hendrick Motorsports and the Hendrick Auto Group. The Foundation helps to fight hunger by supporting the local food bank and works with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System to identify schools where high risk children are in need of clothing. The Foundation also supports the Be The Match and its bone marrow donor program.
The Carolinas PGA’s 53rd SignArt North Carolina Open offers a unique fundraising opportunity for the Foundation with help from presenting partner, Mobipaid, who supports payments and donations through text messaging and social media. During the event, tournament participants, guests and other attendees will have the opportunity to show their support for the Hendrick Family Foundation with fundraising opportunities.
