New Directory Feature Now Available in CPGA BlueGolf App!

The wait is over! We are pleased to announce the arrival of our new Directory feature within the Carolinas PGA BlueGolf App! With help from BlueGolf, you are now able to access a digital version of our member directory to enhance your experience connecting and networking with CPGA Professionals on and off the golf course. The new CPGA BlueGolf App Directory enables PGA Members to connect with colleagues in just a few taps. You can search for members by Last Name and Facility Name. Information within the Directory is updated every evening by BlueGolf, in coordination with the PGA of America, in order to offer you the most up to date information possible from the convenience of your device. At this time, the Directory can only be accessed by members of the CPGA Section.

For further details about the app, how to download, access and navigate this new feature, please SEE HERE

As the largest Section of the PGA of America, we continually strive to make our Section the best that it can be with improvements to better serve all of you and our growing golf community. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on this development and, as always, are happy to help however we can to make your experience as a PGA Professional and CPGA member as successful as possible!

Kelly Mitchum to Compete in Wells Fargo Championship

Raising funds to support Townsend family

Kelly Mitchum, PGA

The Townsend Family

PGA Teaching Professional Kelly Mitchum of Pinehurst Resort will be competing in the upcoming PGA Tour Wells Fargo Championship on May 5-8.  Kelly won a one-spot qualifier to earn the exemption.  That spot was available only due to the tragic passing of our 2015 Section Professional Champion Mike Townsend eight days after his victory.

Kelly would like to honor Mike while helping to support Katherine and her two children, Spencer (3) and Ana Kate (1), with a fundraising drive during the Wells Fargo.  Pledges can be made in any dollar amount, or it can be based on the number of pars and birdies Kelly makes.

Information and Registration

Get to Know Our New Phone System!

ON APRIL 11, the Section officially migrated to an automated phone system. (NOTE: You can still reach staff members by their direct dials).

With this upgrade to automation, when you call the Section Office, you will be greeted with a brief welcome message followed by a short menu of options to reach specific staff members. It is our goal that this system will help direct you to the most appropriate staff member for your questions. In addition to the automated menu, if you find you’re not sure who to speak with, there will also be an option to press “0” at any time to be directed to our general line (of which all CPGA staff members will have access). Please note: If you know who you wish to speak with and select the appropriate option from the menu but are directed to a voicemail, it is likely that particular staff member is away from their desk or already on the line.

Take a moment to get to know the CPGA Staff! Prior to calling Section HQ, we recommend first visiting our website, as the information you’re looking for may already be available online. As always, you are welcome to email one of our staff members or the Section address at any time.
