About the Carolinas PGA Assistants' Association

Mission
The Assistants' Association is a division of the Carolinas PGA Section. Our purpose is to prepare golf professionals for future success as PGA Members. The goal of our Association is to elevate the standards of CPGA Assistant Professionals through mentoring, networking, and promoting the game of golf. We will accomplish this by providing leadership, educational opportunities, tournament competitions, and building personal relationships amongst Assistant Professionals in the community.

 

Eligibility
Contestants must be Class A-8 Members or registered Apprentices in the Carolinas Section (meaning have purchased Level 1 materials). Also, any PGM student that is employed at a recognized facility in the Carolinas Section is considered eligible to participate as long as they have met the criteria set forth in the CPGA Tournament Rules & Regulations.

 

Membership
The membership fee for 2017 is $30.00. This fee enables you to pay the "Member" fee when registering for 2017 Assistants' Association tournaments (excluding the CPGA Assistant Professional Championship). The membership fee money goes towards administration of Assistants' Association events, education, and tournament purses.
